BACKGROUND:
The Georgetown Sertoma Club has sponsored a memorial scholarship program to provide assistance to high school graduates for the purpose of pursuing post-secondary endeavors for over 20 years. Selection of student recipients is based on scholarship, participation in activities and/or work |
experience while in high school, financial need, and area of Post-secondary study. Total dollars awarded last year was a little over $11,000, our largest sum to date, thanks to our newest fund-raising event, the first organized bike ride in the Georgetown area.
